Devlog 5: The Inside of Southport

Hey all,

Welcome back to my new devlog. Today, we're going to be looking at the inside of Southport. It's the part that needed the most developing as I haven't quite gotten around to it just yet.

I have three main places to share, first the Church of Loubon:

The Loubon Church is where the Loubon lovers all gather up and worship together. This process can get a bit rowdy and as such you can see the damage on the floor.  I think I've made the church a bit large, so I'll definitely be scaling it down a bit so it looks better.

The next interior is the Armoursmith:

Here, you'll be able to buy all the armours that your characters need to feel strong and resist damage.  I've also made it such that you can no longer purchase weapons in Rivertown as they have a blacksmith not an armoursmith. I've decided that in this world, blacksmiths only sell weapons and armoursmiths only armour.

The final interior that is has been completed is the Wallside Inn:

Here, you'll be able to rest and heal the whole party. I'm also going to be a adding a few patrons along with some more decorations on the tables and some such. I'm also implementing a quest here, that is proving to be quite difficult to properly code. It should be easy enough to play though and that's how all quests should be, after all. 

With this part of Southport done, I plan on moving to the final few interiors, and then to the main castle and watch tower that are inside the city. Southport is proving to be a very large and busy place, and a very ambitious choice for me with my current lack of skills.

But it's maybe 40-50% complete by this stage. Once it's done, and after some light testing I'll be releasing the next update of the game introducing Southport to the players.
